Spotted: Kat Graham at Elle magazine’s Women in Television soiree in LA, doing her very best to look chic and elegant.
A for effort, KG, but the actual outcome was, well, see for yourself…
Although I adore Kat to the heavens, this look is not one that I love. It’s not a total disaster…but it’s pretty close and I’ll tell you why.
Firstly, the fit. It’s both too tight around her thighs–you should never see those horizontal pull lines, that’s when you know a garment is too small–and too big and wrinkly everywhere else, which tells me that this shape dress (a sheath) isn’t right for her curvy figure.
Then there’s the rest of the outfit: Those shoes don’t go–a neutral pump would’ve been better–and chunky bracelets over the already too-long sleeve is just awkward.
Sorry, lambs, but I’m not loving her makeup either. I get that she was going for a ladylike vibe, but the too-matte lipstick just comes across as dry and ashy.
